Holy Week Schedule

The church around the world is about to enter the holiest time of the year, when we remember and celebrate with greater solemnity than every the sacred mysteries of Jesus’ suffering, death and glorious Resurrection.  Join us in our annual commemoration of the salvation won for us by God.

PALM SUNDAY OF THE PASSION • APRIL 1

Saturday Vigil Masses: 4:00 and 5:15 PM
Sunday Masses: 8:00, 9:15 (Korean), 9:30 (Lower Church),11:00 AM; 12:30, 5:00, and 6:15 PM
Palms will be distributed at all Masses.

Confessions: 8:30 to 9:30 AM; 4:30 to 6:00 PM (Lower Church)

 

MONDAY, TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY OF HOLY WEEK • APRIL 2, 3 & 4

Confessions: 7:30 to 9:00 AM; 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

 

HOLY THURSDAY • APRIL 5

Masses: 8:00 AM and 12:15 PM
Mass of the Lord’s Supper, Washing of the Feet and Procession to the Repository: 5:30 PM
Mass of the Lords’ Supper (Korean): 8:30 PM

Confessions: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Lower Church)

 

GOOD FRIDAY • APRIL 6

Service of the Seven Last Words: 12:00 Noon
Solemn Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion: 3:00 PM
Veneration of the Cross: 4:30 PM
Stations of the Cross: 5:30 PM
Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion (Korean): 8:30 PM

Confessions: 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (Lower Church)

 

HOLY SATURDAY • APRIL 7

The Great Vigil of Easter: 7:00 PM
The Upper Church will remain closed until 6:30 PM
There are no Saturday afternoon Vigil Masses.
The Great Vigil of Easter (Korean): 9:30 PM

Confessions: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Lower Church)

 

EASTER SUNDAY • APRIL 8

Masses: 8:00, 9:15 (Korean), 9:30 (Lower Church),11:00 AM and 12:30 PM
There will be no evening Masses or confessions on Easter Sunday and the church will close after the 12:30 Mass.

 

EASTER MONDAY • APRIL 9

Masses: 8:00 & 11:00 am; 4:30 & 5:30 PM
There will be no confessions and the church offices will be closed for the day.
