Franciscan Bread for the Poor

Franciscan Bread for the Poor, Inc. is a separate not-for-profit charitable ministry of Holy Name Province.  The Franciscan friars have been feeding the hungry and serving the poor of New York City since 1930.  Every day of the year, our breadline distributes food to as many as 500 men, women and children.   Our ministry also includes weekly deliveries of choice groceries to the elderly and shut-ins of our Chelsea neighborhood.  To find out more about this great ministry of the Friars, please visit the breadline’s website here.
